Our G.C. Hudson Supply raffle draw was this morning… and here’s our winner!

Brockville, Ontario – May 9, 2025 –

Habitat for Humanity Thousand Islands picked a winner of the DeWalt combination of pole saw, pruning saw and chain saw generously donated by G.C Hudson Ltd. – Hudson Point Road, Brockville.

It’s official, Carole Sabourin was randomly selected on May 9th, 2025 at 9 am in the Habitat for Humanity Thousand Islands ReStore as the winner of the DeWalt combination of pole saw, pruning saw and chain saw raffle.  The DeWalt package was swiftly claimed after the winner was notified.

“This is our second major in-store raffle fundraiser and it has been very exciting as people came into the ReStore, purchased their tickets and hoped for the best,” said Angela Campbell, Manager of Fundraising and Community Connections. “There were 222 tickets sold during the couple of months the raffle has been running. Maurice Powell of G.C. Hudson has donated this DeWalt package on behalf of G.C. Hudson Ltd. and has been very generous in his support of our cause.”

“This is the perfect season to bring these tools home and make some improvements around your property,” said Board Chair Bill Spencer. “Fundraisers like this DeWalt package can make a very positive difference in our community.”
