We’ve had another amazing year where our local grade 4, 5, and 6 students have helped to raise THOUSANDS of dollars that Habitat for Humanity 1000 Islands will put towards building brand-new housing!
Because of their fantastic efforts, we were ranked higher than 29 other affiliates all across Canada!
We really can’t thank our local students enough. There are so many different ideas as to what makes a house a ‘home’, and it makes us so proud to know that, while we can build houses, it’s only the families who partner with us that can provide the necessary love, compassion, and joy that makes it ‘their home’.
