Brockville, Ontario – May 29, 2026 – Habitat for Humanity Thousand Islands picks a winner of the 2nd YOU WIN, WE BUIILD 50/50 Raffle.
It’s official, Laurie Malowsky was randomly selected on May 29th, 2026 at 11 am in the Habitat for Humanity Thousand Islands Brockville ReStore. Ms. Malowsky receives half of the total raffle package of $972.50.
“This is our second major province-wide 50/50 raffle fundraiser and it has been very exciting as people came into the ReStore were told about the raffle and purchased their tickets on Rafflebox said Angela Campbell, Manager of Fundraising and Community Connections. Everyone is a winner as each ticket helps us build safe, affordable homes for families in need.”
“This is the perfect time to use your winnings for home improvement or literally anything you desire,” said Executive Director, Anthony Conte. “Fundraisers like this 50/50 draw can make a very positive difference in our community.”
Habitat for Humanity Thousand Islands has been serving the community of Leeds Grenville since 1998. During that time 22 families have benefitted from home ownership. Currently four more families will call Lockett Place in Prescott, Ontario home in late summer of this year.
