The Cashier works at the sales counter to assist customers through both the purchase and donation process. Below are some common tasks that may be performed by the cashier.
This position is being offered at the Kemptville location.
Primary Tasks:
- Operate the cash register
- Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions
- Greet customers and answer questions
- Ensure the cash area is clean & inviting
Qualifications:
- Friendly and helpful attitude
- Good communication skills
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- Basic math skills – ability to use a calculator
- Ability to do light lifting (up to 15lbs)
- Ability to stay on feet for extended period of time
Hours Needed:
- Preferred shifts available:
- Tuesday morning 9am – 1pm
- Friday afternoon 1pm – 5pm
- Saturday morning 9am – 1pm
- Saturday afternoon 1pm – 5pm
- Extremely flexible scheduling
*Volunteers must complete an application form, sign a waiver, and be 18 years of age or older.
